Last month PEHP sponsored their quarterly wellness webinar entitled “Develop a Growth Mindset.” Dr. Terri Flint, MSW, Phd talked about how to challenge our fixed mind set into a growth mind set.
Dr. Flint explained that a growth mind set is one that is focused on coming up with solutions or learning from mistakes. Someone with a fixed mindset, on the other hand, tends to focus on negative outcomes and internalizing failure.
Dr. Flint challenges us to recognize our fixed mindset and change it to a growth one. Having a growth mindset will help us become more resilient in the face of challenges and changes.
